- Arrange the chops in a deep 30 cm / 12 in diameter dish. Drain the mandarins, reserving 30 ml / 2 tablespoons of the syrup, and divide the fruit over the chops.
- Beat the reserved syrup with the remaining ingredients except the rice and spoon over the mandarins.
- Cover with clingfilm (plastic wrap) and slit it twice to allow steam to escape. Cook on Full for 20 minutes, turning the dish four times.
- Allow to stand for 5 minutes, then serve with the rice.

- 250 grams pork spare rib chops, fat removed
- 300 grams mandarin segments in light syrup
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons fruit chutney, chopped if necessary
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
