FISH PIE

Preparation Method :

  • Put the potatoes in a 500 ml round dish. Add 2 tablespoons of the water and a pinch of salt.
  • Cover with clingfilm and slit it to allow steam to escape. Cook on Full for 4 minutes. Allow to stand for 1 minute.
  • Drain and mash finely with the butter or margarine and milk. Stir in the parsley.
  • Put the fish in a small round dish and season with salt. Add the remaining cold water. Cover as before and cook on Full for about 4 minutes. Drain and flake.
  • Combine with the potato mixture. Spread into a clean buttered dish. Sprinkle with the crisps or cornflakes. Reheat, uncovered, on Full for 2 minutes.

INGREDIENTS

  • 220 grams any skinned white fish or salmon fillet
  • 150 grams floury potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 3 tablespoons cold water
  • 1 teaspoon butter or margarine
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablesposon cornflakes or crushed potato chips
