SPAGHETTI WITH RAGU SAUCE

- Place the oil, onion, garlic and carrot in a 8cup dish. Heat, uncovered, on Full for4 - 6 minutes.
- Add all the remaining ingredients except the salt, pepper and spaghetti. Cover with a plate and cook on Full for 15 minutes, stirring 3 times.
- Allow to stand for 5 minutes. Adjust Seasoning with salt and pepper, discard the bay leaf and serve with the spaghetti.

- 300 grams fleshly cooked and drained spaghetti
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 small carrot, grated
- 5 teaspoons Cooking oil
- 250 grams lean minced beef
- 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon tomato puree
- 300 ml beef stock
- 50 ml dry white wine
- ¼ teaspoon dried basil
- 1 small bay leaf
- 150 grams mushrooms, coarsely chopped
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
