Preparation Method :
- Place bacon, onions and garlic in a microwave browning casserole dish, cover and cook on High for 3 minutes, stir, then cook for 2 minutes longer.
- Add sausage and marjoram or oregano to casserole, cover and cook on Medium for 4 minutes.
- Stir in tomatoes, wine, stock and tomato paste (puree), cover and cook on High for 8 minutes.
- Stir in beans and zucchini, cover and cook on Medium for 4 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley and serve immediately.
INGREDIENTS
- 4 rashers bacon, cut into medium strips
- 2 large onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 350 grams smoked wurst sausage, cut into thick slices
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh marjoram or oregano
- 450 grams tomatoes, undrained and mashed
- 250 ml red wine
- 150 ml chicken stock
- 75 ml tomato paste
- 400 grams haricot or navy beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 large zucchini (courgette), sliced chopped fresh parsley
