BRAISED ONIONS WITH PARMA HAM AND PARMESAN CHEESE

Preparation Time :
15 minutes

Cooking Time :
7 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Put the onions in a 500 ml dish. Sprinkle with salt and add the water. Cover with clingfilm and slit it to allow steam to escape.
  • Cook on Full for 6 - 7 minutes. Allow to stand for 1 minute. Drain. Stir in the ham and cheese. Wipe the sides of the dish clean with kitchen paper.
  • Sprinkle with the nuts. Cover as before and cook on Full for 1 minute. Allow to stand for 30 seconds before eating.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 onions, sliced
  • Salt
  • 3 tablespoons boiling water
  • 50 grams Parma ham, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon any chopped salted nuts
