SOUFFLE OMELETTE

Souffle Omelette could have its perfect score of ten to anyone who would have a taste on it! It contains a lot of ingredients like jam, sugar, butter, lemon juice, eggs and caster sugar! This will surely bring delight to you and your family!
Serves :

Preparation Time :
10 minutes

Cooking Time :
5 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Spoon the jam into a small dish or cup.
  • Cover with a saucer and heat on Defrost for 2minutes. Carefully remove from the microwave, leave covered and set aside.
  • Cover a large sheet of greaseproof paper with sifted icing sugar.
  • Brush a deep 25 cm / 10 in diameter dish with melted butter. Add the lemon juice to the egg whites and beat until stiffly peaking.
  • Add the caster sugar to the egg yolks and beat until thick, pale and creamy. Gently whisk the beaten whites into the yolks until smooth and evenly combined.
  • Spoon into the prepared dish. Cook, uncovered for at least 3 minutes.
  • Invert on to the sugared paper, score a line down the centre with a knife and spread the warm jam over half the omelette. Gently fold in half, cut into two portions and eat straight away.

  • 50 grams jam  
  • Icing sugar
  • Melted butter
  • 3 drops lemon juice
  • 3 large eggs, separated
  • 1 tablespoon castor (superfine) sugar
