HONEY GRANOLA

Makes :
6 Cups

Preparation Time :
15 minutes

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Put the butter or margarine in a Dutch oven. Add the honey. Melt, uncovered, on Defrost for about 3 - 4 minutes.
  • Mix in all the remaining ingredients except the raisins. Cook, uncovered, on Full for 10 minutes, stirring 4 times or until the granola is lightly browned.
  • Add the raisins and mix in thoroughly. Allow to stand until cold and crisp, then break up with a fork until crumbly. Store in an airtight container.

INGREDIENTS

  • 100 grams light soft brown sugar
  • 75 grams chopped nuts
  • 100 grams raisins
  • 100 grams butter or margarine
  • 100 ml clear honey
  • 250 grams porridge oats
  • 3 tablespoons coarse bran
