MINTED LAMB KEBABS

The Minted Lamb Kebabs recipe is composed of highly nutritional ingredients which are perfectly best to blend to each other. This dish offers you a complete satisfaction and enjoyment from the delectable and delicious aroma.

20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Thread the lamb on to six wooden skewer alternately with the mint leave.
  • Arrange like the spokes of a wheel in deep 25 cm / 10 in diameter dish.Mix the yoghurt, ketchup, garlic and Worcestershire sauce and brush half the mixture over the kebabs.
  • Cook, uncovered, on Full for 10 minutes, turning the dish twice.
  • Turn the kebabs over and brush with the remaining baste. Cook on Full for a further 8 minutes, turning the dish twice.
  • Allow to stand for 5 minute. Warm the pitta breads briefly and the grill (broiler) until they puff up, then slice along the long edge to make a pocket.
  • Remove the meat from the skewers and discard the bay leaves.
  • Pack the lamb into the pittas, then ad a good helping of the salad to each.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kg lamb fillet, trimmed, cut into small cubes
  • 4 tablespoons thick plain yoghurt
  • 4 tablespoons tomato ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 6 pitta breads, warmed
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 10  - 12 large mint leaves
  • Lettuce leaves, tomato and cucumber slices
