LAMB BREDIE WITH TOMATOES

Preparation Method :
- Pour the oil into a deep dish. Add the onions, garlic and chilli, mix thoroughly. Cook, uncovered for about 5 minutes.
- Add the remaining ingredients to the dish and make a small hollow in the centre so as to form a ring.
- Cover with clingfilm (plastic wrap) and slit it twice to allow steam to escape. Cook for 10 - 12 minutes, turning the dish four times. Allow to stand for 5 minutes before serving.
INGREDIENTS
- 750 grams boned and coarsely chopped lamb
- 3 onions, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
- 1 small green chilli, seeded and chopped
- 4 tomatoes, blanched, skinned and sliced
- 2 tablespoons Cooking oil
- 1 teaspoon dark soft brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons tomato puree (paste)
- Salt to taste
