SMOKY FISH TOPPERS

This smoky fish toppers is really good dish. It is better to sprinkle chives on the top to make it more attractive. It is great and no doubt after preparing this food. It is perfect; the taste of the fish was there. It is yummy and you will love to try it again!

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Arrange the fish in a deep dish. Season with pepper. Cover with clingfilm (plastic wrap) and slit it twice to allow steam to escape.
  • Cook for 10 minutes. Spoon the juices over the fish, then allow to stand for 1 minute. Place the vegetables in another medium-sized casserole dish (Dutch oven).
  • Cover with a plate and cook for 5 minutes, stirring once. Spoon the vegetables over the fish. Cover as before and cook for 2 minutes. Sprinkle with the chives and serve.

INGREDIENTS

  • 150 grams frozen smoked haddock portions,
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 small courgette (zucchini), sliced
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, blanched, skinned and chopped
  • ½ red (bell) pepper, seeded and cut into strips
  • 1 tablespoon snipped chives
