BUTTERED SOFT HERRING ROES WITH GARLIC

Preparation Method :
- Put the roes in a small but deep dish. Dot with the butter or margarine and crush the garlic over the top. Season to taste.
- Cover with plastic wrap and slit it to allow steam to escape. Cook on Defrost for 6 minutes. Allow to stand for 1 minute.
- Uncover and sprinkle with the onions. Eat with toast.

- 100 grams soft herring roes, washed and drained
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
- 1 garlic clove, peeled
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 2 spring onions, chopped
- Toast, to serve
