Preparation Method :
- Put the fish in a shallow 500 ml round dish. Add half the water. Cover with clingfilm and slit it to allow steam to escape.
- Cook on Full for 4 minutes. Uncover and drain.
- Repeat, using the remaining water and covering as before.
- Uncover and drain again, then cook on full for a further 2 minutes. Uncover and drain.
- Transfer to a plate and top with a knob of butter or margarine or a poached egg.
INGREDIENTS
- 100 grams piece of smoked haddock fillet, cut from the thicker end
- 300 ml cold water
- Butter or margarine or 1 poached egg, to serve
