SAVOURY RICE STUFFING WITH NUTS

Cooking Time :
10 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Cook the rice with the water and salt. Put the butter or margarine in a 6 cups dish. Heat, uncovered, on Full for 1½ minutes.
  • Stir in the salted peanuts and onion. Cook, uncovered, on Full for 4 minutes, stirring once. Mix in the rice and herbs. Use when cold.

INGREDIENTS

For poultry

  • 150 grams easy-cook long-grain rice
  • 250 ml boiling water
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter or lard
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 1 teaspoon chopped parsley
  • 2 tablespoons flaked (slivered) and toasted almonds
  • 2 tablespoons salted peanuts
