CHICKEN LIVER STUFFING WITH PECANS AND ORANGE

Chicken liver stuffing with pecans and orange – what a perfect combination! This recipe is extremely best for all people who are craving for new sets of microwave foods. You can serve this in your regular meals and even to any special occasions.
Makes :
300 Grams

Preparation Time :
15 minutes

Cooking Time :
10 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Put the butter or margarine in a 6 cups dish. Heat, uncovered, on Full for 2 minutes.
  • Add the onion. Cook, uncovered, on Full for 4 minutes, stirring once.
  • Add the livers. Cook, uncovered, on Defrost for 6 minutes, stirring 2 times.
  • Mix in the parsley, grated orange peel, allspice and breadcrumbs and season to taste.
  • Bind with a little stock only if the stuffing remains on the dry side. Use when cold.

INGREDIENTS

For poultry and game

  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1 onion, grated
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
  • 2 tablespoons broken pecan nuts
  • 100 grams chicken livers, rinsed, dried and cut into small pieces  
  • ¼ teaspoon ground allspice
  • 150 grams fresh white or brown breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated orange peel
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Chicken stock
