- Cook, uncovered, on Full for 4 minutes, stirring once. Mix in all the remaining ingredients. Use when cold.

- 1 eating apple, peeled, quartered, cored and chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 tablespoons chopped dates
- 2 tablespoons toasted and chopped hazelnuts
- 1 teaspoon caster sugar

- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
