CHEESE AND EGG CRUMPETS

Cheese and Egg Crumpets is such a savory dish that can fulfill your cravings! It has its basic ingredients that include mushroom soup, single cream, Red Leicester cheese, poached eggs and toasted crumpets! This will surely bring delight to your mouth!

Preparation Time :
10 minutes

Cooking Time :
5 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Put the soup, cream and half the cheese into a 900 ml / 1½ pt / 3¾ cups bowl.
  • Heat, uncovered for 5 minutes until hot and smooth, beating every minute. Put each crumpet on a warmed plate and top with an egg.
  • Coat with the mushroom mixture, sprinkle with the remaining cheese and heat one at a time for about 1 minute until the cheese is melted and bubbling. Eat straight away.

INGREDIENTS

  • 300 ml condensed mushroom soup
  • 3 tablespoons single (light) cream
  • 150 grams Red Leicester cheese, grated
  • 4 hot toasted crumpets
  • 4 freshly poached eggs
