STEWED RHUBARB

Preparation Time :
5 minutes

Cooking Time :
4 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Put the rhubarb in a serving bowl with the sugar, water and ginger. Cover with clingfilm and slit it to allow steam to escape.
  • Cook on Defrost for 6 minutes or until tender. Allow to stand for 1 minute.
  • Serve hot, warm or cold, either plain or with cream.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cold water
  • 100 grams rhubarb, chopped  
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
  • Cream or custard, to serve
