Preparation Method :
- Blend some of the cold milk smoothly with the custard powder in a large bowl. Mix in the remainder.
- Cook, uncovered, on Full for 4 minutes, whisking every minute to prevent lumps forming or until the mixture comes to the boil and thickens.
- Beat in the sugar and egg yolks. Cover with a piece of clingfilm , placing it directly on the surface of the custard to stop a skin forming. Allow to cool.
- Put the jelly cubes in a measuring jug with 50 ml water. Cover with a saucer and melt on Defrost for 4 minutes, stirring twice.
- Make up to 250 ml with cold water. Lift the clingfilm off the custard and beat in the melted jelly. Cover and chill until the mixture is beginning to thicken and set.
- Whisk the egg whites and salt until stiff. Beat half into the jelly mixture, then smoothly fold in the remainder with a large metal spoon or balloon whisk.
- Transfer to dessert dishes. Cover and chill until firm and set. Decorate with fresh seasonal fruits.

- 2 large eggs, separated
- 1 packet lime jelly Break up into cubes.
- A pinch of salt
- Seasonal fruits, to decorate
