SUMMER FRUIT COULIS

Preparation Time :

Cooking Time :
4 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Put the rinsed fruits in a food processor or blender and to a puree. Strain to remove the seeds.
  • Transfer to a 4 cups bowl with the sugar. Mix the corn flour smoothly with the water. Add to the puree in the bowl.
  • Cook, uncovered, on Full for 3 minutes, whisking every 20 - 30 seconds or until the mixture has thickened and is clear and bubbling gently.
  • Stir in the vanilla and lemon juice and use cold.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tablespoon corn flour
  • 75 ml cold water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence  
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 300 grams mixture of summer fruits, Rinsed
  • 3 tablespoons castor sugar
