Preparation Method :
- Place bacon, onion, garlic and oil in a microwave browning casserole dish, cover and cook on High for 2 minutes, stir, then cook for 2 more minutes.
- Stir in beef and spread out to make an even layer, cover and cook for 3 minutes, stir and cook for 2 minutes longer.
- Add carrot, celery, tomatoes, tomato paste, stock cube, wine, and black pepper to taste. Cover and cook for 15 minutes. Stir in parsley or oregano and serve immediately.

- 500 grams canned tomatoes, undrained, cut in chunky pieces
- 75 ml tomato paste
- 2 rashers bacon, chopped
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 2 tablespoons Cooking oil
- 500 grams lean beef mince
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1 stalk celery, thinly sliced
- 1 beef stock cube, crumbled
- 50 ml red wine
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley or oregano
