APRICOT SAUCE

Makes :
2 Cups

Preparation Time :
15 minutes

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Place apricots and water in a microwavable bowl or jug, cover and cook on High for 8 - 10 minutes or until apricots are tender. Set aside to cool.
  • Place the apricot mixture in a food processor or blender and process to make a puree. Add orange juice and brandy and mix to combine.
  • Place apricot puree in a microwavable bowl or jug and heat on High for 4 minutes or until sauce is hot.
  • Serve this delicious sauce with Gingerbread Pudding, crepes or over ice cream.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams dried apricots
  • 500 ml boiling water
  • 75 ml orange juice
  • 3 tablespoons brandy
