WINTER FRUIT CRUMBLE

                    Preparation Method :
- Place apples, kiwifruit, passion fruit and sugar in a microwavable serving dish, mix to combine and sprinkle with water. Cover and cook on High for 5 minutes.
- To make topping: Place the flour and butter in a food processor and process for 20 seconds or until mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
- Transfer mixture to a bowl. Add breadcrumbs, brown sugar and soy grits or rolled oats and mix to combine. Sprinkle topping over fruit and cook on Medium for 5 - 8 minutes.
- The crumble is delicious served with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
INGREDIENTS
- 75 grams wholemeal flour
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, chopped
- 150 grams slices pumpernickel bread, made into crumbs
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons soy grits or rolled oats
- 500 grams red-skinned apples, cored, peeled and sliced
- 2 kiwifruit, sliced
- 2 passion fruit
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons water
