PLUM AND APPLE CRUMBLE

Preparation Method :
- Place the apples and plums in a buttered 4 cups pie dish. Mix in the sugar and grated lemon peel. Tip the flour into bowl and rub in the butter or margarine finely.
- Add the sugar and spice and toss together. Sprinkle the mixture thickly over the fruits. Cook, uncovered, on Full for 10 - 12 minutes, turning the dish twice.
- Allow to stand for 5 minutes. Eat hot or warm.
INGREDIENTS
- 250 grams peeled and sliced apples
- 250 grams stoned (pitted) plums
- 150 grams soft brown sugar
- 150 grams all-purpose wholemeal flour
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
- 100 grams butter or margarine
- 75 grams demerara sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground allspice
