BERRY FRUIT CRUMBLE WITH ALMONDS

15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Place the mixed berry fruits in a buttered 4 cups pie dish. Mix in the sugar. Tip the flour into bowl and rub in the butter or margarine finely.
  • Add the sugar ,toasted flaked almonds and spice and toss together. Sprinkle the mixture thickly over the fruit. Cook, uncovered, on Full for 10 - 12 minutes, turning the dish twice.
  • Allow to stand for 5 minutes. Eat hot or warm.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams mixed berry fruits
  • 125 grams soft brown sugar
  • 150 grams all-purpose wholemeal flour
  • 100 grams butter or margarine
  • 75 grams demerara sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground allspice
  • 2 tablespoons toasted flaked almonds
