Preparation Method :
- Place the apricots in a buttered 4cup pie dish. Mix in the sugar. Tip the flour into bowl and rub in the butter or margarine finely.
- Add the sugar and spice and toss together. Sprinkle the mixture thickly over the fruit. Cook, uncovered, on Full for 10 - 12 minutes, turning the dish twice.
- Allow to stand for 5 minutes. Eat hot or warm.
INGREDIENTS
- 500 grams stoned (pitted) fresh apricots
- 125 grams soft brown sugar
- 150 grams all-purpose wholemeal flour
- 100 grams butter or margarine
- 75 grams demerara sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground allspice
