Preparation Method :
- Closely line a 7 cups souffle dish with plastic wrap, allowing it to hang very slightly over the edge.
- Put the marmalade, golden syrup, eggs, oil and water in a food processor and blend until smooth.
- Sift together all the remaining ingredients and spoon into the processor bowl. Run the machine until the mixture is well combined.
- Transfer into the dish and cover lightly with kitchen paper. Cook on Full for 10 minutes or until the cake is well risen.
- Allow to cool in the dish, then transfer to a wire rack by holding the clingfilm.
- Peel away the clingfilm carefully and leave until completely cold.
- Store in an airtight container for 1 day before cutting.

- 3 tablespoons orange marmalade
- 250 grams golden syrup
- 2 eggs
- 150 ml Cooking oil
- 150 ml warm water
- 250 grams self-raising flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 teaspoons ground ginger
- 2 teaspoons ground allspice
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
