ANGLO-MADRAS TURKEY CURRY

Irresistible – that’s what other’s say once they taste angle madras turkey curry! This recipe is filled with perfect ingredients that can never resist by anyone. If you have this perfect recipe, you and your family will surely enjoy the meal and continue craving for more servings.

Preparation Method :

  • Pour the oil in a 6 cup dish with the onion, garlic, raisins and coconut.
  • Mix well. Cook, uncovered, on Full for 3 minutes. Mix in the flour, curry powder, water, cream, salt, lemon juice and turkey.
  • Cover with a plate and cook on Full for 10 - 12 minutes, stirring twice, until the curry is thickened and bubbling.
  • Allow to stand for 5 minutes. Stir round and serve with Indian bread, salad and chutney.

INGREDIENTS

  • 400 grams cold cooked turkey, cubed 
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • 1 large onion, very thinly sliced
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons raisins
  • 2 tablespoons desiccated coconut
  • 2 tablespoons plain (all-purpose) flour
  • 2 tablespoons hot curry powder
  • 2 tablespoons single (light) cream
  • 300 ml boiling water
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • Salt to taste
  • Indian bread, mixed salad and chutney, to serve
