PORTUGUESE PORT CHICKEN

7 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Score the flesh of each drumstick in 2 places. Arrange in a 3 cups dish, fleshy parts towards the edge.
  • Sprinkle with the garlic and thyme and salt, pepper and paprika to taste.
  • Cover with clingfilm and slit it to allow steam to escape. Cook on Full for 4 minutes.
  • Uncover and surround with the mushrooms. Pour over the port. Cover as above and cook on Full for 3 minutes.
  • Allow to stand for 2 minutes before eating.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams chicken drumsticks
  • 75 grams mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons port
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • ¼ teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Paprika
