HUNGARIAN CHICKEN AND MIXED VEGETABLES

Hungarian chicken and mixed chicken – a delicious and irresistible dish for you! Aside from its perfect taste and ingredients, this dish becomes very popular because of its healthy recipes. Every bite is tendered with delicious and nutritious content coming from its mixed vegetables.

Preparation Method :

  • Put the butter or lard in a 25 cm / 10 in diameter casserole dish (Dutch oven). Heat, uncovered, on Defrost for 2 minutes.
  • Stir in the onions. Cook, uncovered, on Full for 2 - 3 minutes. Mix in the green pepper, courgettes, chicken, paprika and tomato puree. Cover with clingfilm (plastic wrap) and slit it twice to allow steam to escape.
  • Cook on Full for at least 5 minutes, turning the dish 3 times. Uncover. Gradually work in the soured cream and salt. Cover as before and cook on Full for 10 minutes.
  • Allow to stand for 5 minutes, then stir round and serve.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tablespoons butter 
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 1 small green (bell) pepper
  • 3 small courgettes (zucchini), thinly sliced
  • 500 grams boned chicken breast, cubed
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 3 tablespoons tomato puree (paste)
  • 150 ml soured (dairy sour) cream
  • Salt to taste
