HONG KONG CHICKEN WITH MIXED VEGETABLES AND BEAN SPROUTS

Hong Kong chicken with mixed vegetables and bean sprouts is your excellent food choice. This recipe is extremely best not only for food cravers but health conscious as well. With its mixed vegetables and bean sprouts, you and your family find this dish more tempting

Preparation Method :

  • Place the onion, carrot and oil in a dish.
  • Cook, uncovered for 5 minutes. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Cover with clingfilm (plastic wrap) and slit it twice to allow steam to escape.
  • Cook for 5 minutes, turning the dish frequently. Allow to stand for 5 minutes before serving with rice or noodles.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 Chinese dried mushrooms, soaked, drained , cut into strips
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 250 grams cooked chicken, cut into strips
  • 250 grams bean sprouts
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon sesame oil
  • A good pinch of cayenne pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Boiled rice or Chinese noodles, to serve
