CHICKEN VERONIQUE

The Chicken Veronique dish is perfect with any occasions. You will appreciate the little sweetness and the chicken itself its totally fluffy and delicious every bites. It is great to prepare with your love ones and creates a bonding moment with this prestigious dish!

45 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Remove the meat from the bones and cut into bite-sized pieces. Put into a mixing bowl.
  • Put the onion in a small bowl with the butter or margarine and cook, uncovered for about 2 - 3 minutes.
  • In a seperate bowl, beat together the creme fraiche, port or sherry, mayonnaise, mustard, tomato ketchup and celery.
  • Fold into the chicken with the cooked onion and the grapes. Spoon neatly into a serving dish and garnish with the bunches of grapes.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Roast Chicken
  • 1 onion, finely grated
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 150 ml creme fraiche
  • 2 tablespoons white port or medium-dry sherry
  • 2 tablespoons thick mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons made mustard
  • 1 teaspoon tomato ketchup (catsup)
  • 1 small celery stalk, chopped
  • 75 grams seedless green grapes
  • Small bunches of green or red seedless grapes, to garnish
