CHICKEN JAMBAIAYA

Chicken Jambaiaya – an excellent dish for all occasions! If you want a perfect dish for your family, you should start making this appetizing dish. This recipe is too simple to cook and only lasts within 35 minutes, giving you a perfect dish for all food cravers

35 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Arrange the chicken round the edge of a deep dish. Cover with clingfilm (plastic wrap) and slit it twice to allow steam to escape.
  • Cook on Full for 5 minutes. Allow to stand for 2 minutes. Transfer the chicken to a board and cut into cubes. Pour the chicken cooking juices into a jug and reserve.
  • Wash and dry the dish, add the butter and melt, uncovered, on Full for about 2 minutes. Stir in the reserved liquid, the chicken, Prepared vegetables, garlic, rice and tomatoes.
  • Season to taste with the salt. Cover as before and cook on Full for 20 - 25 minutes until the rice grains are dry and have absorbed all the moisture.
  • Allow to stand for 5 minutes, fluff up with a fork and serve straight away.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 boned chicken breasts
  • 50 grams butter or margarine
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 1 red (bell) pepper, seeded and chopped
  • 4 celery stalks, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 250 grams easy-cook long-grain rice
  • 400 grams chopped tomatoes in tomato juice
  • Salt  to taste
