CHICKEN IN CREAMY PEPPER

Chicken in creamy pepper – the best recipe for all types of events! This recipe is filled with perfect seasonings and ingredients that can truly match to your food cravings. If you taste it, you will surely ask for more servings because of its enticing effect.

Preparation Method :

  • Put the butter or margarine in a deep 20 cm / 8 in diameter dish. Melt, uncovered, on Full for 1 minute. Add the onion. Cook, uncovered, on Full for 2 - 3 minutes.
  • Cut the chicken breasts across the grain into 2.5 cm / 1 in wide strips. Mix well into the butter and onions. Cover with clingfilm (plastic wrap) and slit it twice to allow steam to escape.
  • Cook on Full for 5 minutes, turning the dish 3 times. Meanwhile, mix the cornflour smoothly with the cold water.
  • Stir in all the remaining ingredients except the rice. Combine with the chicken and onion, moving the mixture to the edges of the dish and leaving a small hollow in the centre.
  • Cover as before and cook on Full for 10 minutes, turning the dish four times. Allow to stand for 5 minutes. Stir round before serving with the rice.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 boned chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon tomato puree  
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour  
  • 2 tablespoons cold water
  • 2 tablespoons bottled or canned Madagascan green peppercorns
  • 150 ml soured (dairy sour) cream
  • Salt to taste
  • 250 grams long-grain rice, boiled
