CHICKEN BRAISE WITH VEGETABLES

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Pour the oil into a 3 cups round dish. Heat, uncovered, on Defrost for 1 minute. Mix in the vegetables. Cook, uncovered, on Full for 4 minutes.
  • Score the chicken flesh in 2 - 3 places. Arrange on top of the vegetables. Coat with the tomatoes and wine.
  • Season to taste and sprinkle the herbs on top. Cover with clingfilm and slit it to allow steam to escape.
  • Cook on Full for 6 - 8 minutes. Allow to stand for 4 minutes before eating.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams boned chicken breast, skinned
  • 3 ripe tomatoes, blanched, skinned and chopped
  • 3 tablespoons red or rose wine
  • 1 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • 1 large carrot, grated
  • 1 large onion, grated
  • 2 celery stalks, thinly sliced
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dried mixed herbs
