CHICKEN AMANDINE

The Chicken Amandine is a recipe that requires you to use chicken, mushroom soup, medium-dry sherry, garlic clove, almonds, cup brown rice, and broccoli. This recipe is easy to serve and prepare since you only need to follow the four cooking steps.

Preparation Method :

  • Put the chickens, breast sides down and in a single layer, in a large, deep dish that fit into the microwave. Cover with clingfilm (plastic wrap) and slit it twice to allow steam to escape.
  • Cook for at least 20 minutes. Turn the chickens over so that they are now breast sides up. Gently whisk the soup with the sherry and any chicken cooking juices.
  • Mix in the garlic. Pour back over the chickens. Cover as before and cook for 15 minutes, turning the dish three times.
  • Allow to stand for 5 minutes. Transfer the chickens to warmed dinner plates and coat with the sauce. Sprinkle with the almonds and serve with the rice and broccoli.

  • 500 grams chickens
  • 300 ml condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 150 ml medium-dry sherry
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 6 tablespoons toasted flaked (slivered) almonds
  • 150 grams brown rice, boiled
  • Broccoli
