CHICKEN AMANDINE WITH TOMATO AND BASIL

The Chicken Amandine with Tomato and Basil is made with the combination of the ingredients such as chicken, cream of tomato soup, marsala, almond, brown rice, basil leaves, broccoli, and garlic clove. This recipe can prepare for about one hour

Preparation Method :

  • Put the chickens, breast sides down and in a single layer, in a large, deep dish that fit into the microwave. Cover with clingfilm (plastic wrap) and slit it twice to allow steam to escape.
  • Cook for at least 20 minutes. Turn the chickens over so that they are now breast sides up. Gently whisk the soup with the sherry and any chicken cooking juices.
  • Mix in the garlic. Pour back over the chickens. Cover as before and cook for 15 minutes, turning the dish three times.
  • Allow to stand for 5 minutes. Transfer the chickens to warmed dinner plates and coat with the sauce. Add in the basil leaves. Sprinkle with the almonds and serve with the rice and broccoli.

  • 500 grams chickens
  • 300 ml condensed cream of tomato soup
  • 150 ml medium-dry marsala
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 100 grams toasted flaked (slivered) almonds
  • 150 grams brown rice, boiled
  • 6 torn basil leaves
  • Broccoli
