BREAD AND BUTTER CHEESE AND PARSLEY PUDDING

Bread and Butter Cheese and Parsley Pudding looks so tempting inside and out! It has its flavorful ingredients that include white bread, butter, Cheddar cheese, chopped parsley, cold milk, eggs, salt and paprika! This will give you ultimate satisfaction once you’ve tried it on!

5 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Spread the bread with the butter and cut each slice into four squares. Thoroughly butter a 1.75 litres / 3 pt / 7½ cups dish.
  • Arrange half the bread squares, buttered sides up, over the base of the dish. Sprinkle with two- thirds of the cheese and all the parsley.
  • Arrange the remaining bread on top, buttered sides up. Pour the milk into a jug and warm, uncovered for 3 minutes.
  • Beat the eggs until foamy, then gradually whisk in the milk. Stir in the salt. Pour gently over the bread and butter.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and dust with paprika. Cover with kitchen paper and cook on Defrost for 30 minutes.
  • Allow to stand for 5 minutes, then brown under a hot grill (broiler), if liked, before serving.

  • 4 large slices white bread
  • 50 grams butter, at kitchen temperature
  • 175 grams orange- coloured Cheddar cheese
  • 3 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 600 ml cold milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Paprika
