TIKKA MASALA BREAD

Looking for a delectable and irresistible dish, so far? With Tikka Masala Bread you won’t be asking for more because it contains scrumptious ingredients like whole meal flour, ghee or oil, yeast, Tikka spice blend, lukewarm water and cardamom pods!
Makes :
1 Loaf

Preparation Time :
30 minutes

Cooking Time :
6 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Sift the flour and salt into a bowl. Warm, uncovered, on Defrost for 1 minute. Add the yeast and rub in the fat.
  • Mix to a dough with the water. Knead on a floured surface until smooth, elastic and no longer sticky. Return to the cleaned and dried but now lightly greased bowl.
  • Cover the bowl with clingfilm and slit it to allow steam to escape. Warm on Defrost for 2 minutes. Rest in the microwave for 6 minutes.
  • Repeat 3 - 4 times until the dough has doubled in size. Quickly re-knead.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams half white and half wholemeal flour
  • 1 tablespoon tikka spice blend
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 sachet easy-blend dried yeast
  • 6 green cardamom pods 
  • 2 tablespoons Melted ghee 
  • 300 ml lukewarm water
