RYE BREAD

Rye Bread is one of the extreme and powerful Microwave recipes you can give a try! It has its positive result once you’ve followed all the instructions in preparing it! Please include rye flour, butter, margarine, lukewarm water and salt, boom! This is totally what you’ve been expecting since then!
Makes :
1 Loaf

Preparation Time :
25 minutes

Cooking Time :
8 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Sift the flour and salt into a bowl. Warm, uncovered, on Defrost for 1 minute. Add the yeast and rub in the fat.
  • Mix to a dough with the water. Knead on a floured surface until smooth, elastic and no longer sticky. Return to the cleaned and dried but now lightly greased bowl.
  • Cover the bowl with clingfilm and slit it to allow steam to escape. Warm on Defrost for 1½ minutes. Rest in the microwave for 6 minutes.
  • Repeat 3 - 4 times until the dough has doubled in size. Quickly re-knead.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams half wholemeal and half rye flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 sachet easy-blend dried yeast 
  • 2 tablespoons butter, margarine or lard
  • 300 ml lukewarm water
