OIL BREAD

Have you ever heard of an Oil Bread? This unique bread is encumbered with powerful ingredients like salt, lukewarm water, yeast, whole meal flour and hazelnut oil! For sure you would love its sensible taste and you’ll be asking for more!
Makes :
1 Loaf

Preparation Time :
25 minutes

Cooking Time :
8 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Sift the flour and salt into a bowl. Warm, uncovered, on Defrost for 1 minute. Add the yeast and rub in the fat.
  • Mix to a dough with the water. Knead on a floured surface until smooth, elastic and no longer sticky. Return to the cleaned and dried but now lightly greased bowl.
  • Cover the bowl with clingfilm and slit it to allow steam to escape. Warm on Defrost for 1½ minutes. Rest in the microwave for 6 minutes.
  • Repeat 3 - 4 times until the dough has doubled in size. Quickly re-knead.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams half white and half wholemeal flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 sachet easy-blend dried yeast 
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • 300 ml lukewarm water
