SCANDINAVIAN CHRISTMAS GLOGG

Preparation Method :

  • Pour the wine into a large bowl. Add all the remaining ingredients except the brandy.
  • Cover and heat through on Full for about 20 minutes or until hot and the sugar is dissolved.
  • Add the brandy, ladle into handled cups or glasses and serve straight away.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 litre rose or red wine
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 5 whole cloves
  • Seeds from 5 cardamom pods
  • 75 grams granulated sugar
  • Peel of ½ lemon, cut into strips
  • 50 grams blanched almonds, cut into strips
  • 75 grams raisins
  • 1 liqueur glass brandy
