SPEEDY PAPRIKA MEATBALLS

With healthy ingredients such as minced beef, breadcrumbs, sieved tomatoes, paprika, caraway seeds, egg, clove, and breadcrumbs, you can ensure that the Speedy Paprika Meatballs will give you the healthy meal on your dinner. This dish is easily to prepare for about one hour

Preparation Method :

  • Mix together the meat, bread-crumbs, garlic and egg. Shape into 10 - 12 equal size balls.
  • Arrange the balls, round the edge of a deep dish. Combine the sieved tomatoes with the water.
  • Stir in the pepper flakes, paprika, caraway seeds and sugar.
  • Spoon over the meatballs. Cover with cling film (plastic wrap) and slit it twice to allow steam to escape.
  • Cook on for 15 minutes, turning the dish three times. Allow to stand for 5 minutes then uncover and stir in the salt and soured cream. Reheat, uncovered, on Full for 2 - 3 minutes.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams lean minced beef
  • 50 grams fresh white breadcrumbs
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 300 ml sieved tomatoes
  • 300 ml boiling water
  • 2 tablespoons dried red and green (bell) pepper flakes
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds  
  • 2 teaspoons dark soft brown sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • 150 ml soured cream
