HERBED BEEF BUFFET SLICE

20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Thoroughly combine all the ingredients except the soy sauce. Spread into a greased rectangular dish.
  • Brush the top with the soy sauce. Cover with clingfilm (plastic wrap) and slit it twice to allow steam to escape. Cook on Full for 10 - 12 minutes, then allow to stand in the microwave for 3 minutes.
  • Cook on Defrost for a further 10 minutes, turning the dish four times. Allow to stand for 5 minutes.
  • Uncover and carefully drain off the fat and juices.
  • Leave to stand until cold, then transfer to a serving dish and garnish with the mint leaves and orange slices. Serve sliced.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kg minced beef
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 beef stock cube
  • 1 small onion, finely grated
  • 3 tablespoons plain flour
  • 3 tablespoons tomato ketchup  
  • 2 teaspoons dried mixed herbs
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • Mint leaves and peeled orange slices, to garnish
