BRAISED BEEF AND VEGETABLES

The Braised Beef and Vegetable provide complete ingredients that can be appropriate to those who want to maintain their health. This dish is best to include in your daily menu or even in your diet plan. You can serve this dish for eight persons and can prepare for about one hour.

15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Put the butter or margarine into a Dutch oven. Melt on Defrost for 20 - 30 seconds.
  • Add the vegetables and steak and mix well. Cook, uncovered, on Full for 5 minutes. Crumble in the stock cube and stir in the flour and hot water or stock.
  • Move the mixture to the edge of the dish to form a ring, leaving a small hollow in the centre.
  • Sprinkle with pepper. Cover with clingfilm (plastic wrap) and slit it twice to allow steam to escape.
  • Cook on Full for 10 minutes, turning the dish once. Allow to stand for 5 minutes, then season with the salt and serve.

  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1 large onion, grated
  • 3 carrots, thinly sliced
  • 75 grams mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 500 grams rump steak, cut into small cubes
  • 1 beef stock cube
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 300 ml hot water or beef stock
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Salt to taste
