BEEF GOULASH

The Beef Goulash is a recipe that is best to prepare every day or during your special occasion like birthday or anniversary. You can also simply prepare this dish for about one hour and cans serve eight or more persons.

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Melt the fat, uncovered, on Full for 1 - 2 minutes in a dish.
  • Mix in the meat, onions, peppers and garlic. Cover with cling (plastic wrap) and slit it to allow steam to escape.
  • Cook on Full 15 for minutes, turning the dish 3 - 4 times.
  • Uncover and stir in the tomatoes, tomato puree, paprika and caraway seeds. Cover and cook Full for 15 minutes, turning the dish 3 - 4 times as before.
  • Season with the salt gently mix in the boiling water. Ladle into individual deep plates and top each with the cream.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 750 grams stewing steak, cut into small cubes
  • 2 large onions, grated
  • 1 medium green (bell) pepper, seeded and finely diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 300 ml boiling water
  • 150 ml soured cream
  • 4 tomatoes, blanched, skinned chopped
  • 3 tablespoons tomato puree  
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • Salt to taste
