BEEF AND VEGETABLE HOT-POT

Don't think twice to prepare the Beef and vegetable Hot-Pot on your dinner. It is because this dish will provide you a complete satisfaction of taste and aroma. Surely, your family will love this dish because of its high class flavour.

Preparation Method :

  • Thoroughly grease a 1.75 litres / 3 pt / 7½ cups dish. Fill the vegetables and meat in alternate layers, beginning and ending with the potatoes.
  • Cover with clingfilm (plastic wrap) and slit it twice to allow steam to escape. Cook on Full for 15 minutes, turning the dish 3 - 4 times.
  • Crumble the stock cube into the hot stock and stir until dissolved. Pour gently down the side of the dish so it flows through the meat and vegetables.
  • Top with flakes of the butter or margarine. Cover as before and cook on Full for 15 minutes, turning the dish 3 times. Allow to stand for 5 minutes and serve.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams potatoes, thin slices
  • 2 carrots, thin slices
  • 1 large onion, thin slices
  • 450 grams lean stewing steak, cut into small cubes
  • 1 beef stock cube
  • 150 ml hot beef or vegetable stock
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
