BAP ROLLS

Bap Rolls is a delicious food which has its strong and powerful effect to someone who has the chance to eat it! It basically contains ingredients like whole meal flour, yeast, salt, margarine and lukewarm water! This is really perfect to prepare for breakfast, afternoon or midnight snacks!

6 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Sift the flour and salt into a bowl. Warm, uncovered, on Defrost for 1 minute. Add the yeast and rub in the fat.
  • Mix to a dough with the water. Knead on a floured surface until smooth, elastic and no longer sticky. Return to the cleaned and dried but now lightly greased bowl.
  • Cover the bowl with clingfilm and slit it to allow steam to escape. Warm on Defrost for 1 ½ minutes. Rest in the microwave for 6 minutes.
  • Repeat 3 - 4 times until the dough has doubled in size.
  • Knead quickly and lightly after the first rising, then divide equally into 16 pieces. Shape into flat rounds.
  • Arrange eight baps round the edge of each of two greased and floured plates. Cover and cook, one plate at a time, on Defrost for 1½ minutes.
  • Repeat 3 - 4 times or until the rolls have doubled in size. Sprinkle with white or brown flour. Cook, uncovered, on Full for 4 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams half white and half wholemeal flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 sachet easy-blend dried yeast 
  • 2 tablespoons butter, margarine or lard
  • 300 ml lukewarm water
