MANGETOUT AND BEEF STIR-FRY

Preparation Method :
- Coat the beef thoroughly in the marinade, then leave to marinate for about 1-2 hours.
- Heat the sesame oil in a wok, transfer the meat to the wok and stir-fry for about 3-5 minutes.
- Add the mangetout and the marinade, adjust seasoning with salt and pepper and stir-fry for further 2 more minutes.
- Drain the noodles and arrange them on a platter.
- Spoon the mangetout mixture over the top and garnish with shredded spring onions.
INGREDIENTS
- 225 grams dried egg noodles, , cook according to the packet instructions
- 550 grams fillet steak, thinly sliced
- 225 grams mangetout, trimmed
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 3 teaspoon sesame oil
- Spring onions, shredded, to garnish
Marinade
- 2 tablespoon piece of fresh root ginger, shredded
- 1 teaspoon chilli sauce
- 50 ml soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons dry sherry
- 1 teaspoon clear honey
- ½ teaspoon Chinese five spice powder
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
