QUICK COOKED BEEF AND VEGETABLES

Quick cooked beef and vegetables a dish that when you see it, you will do everything just to eat it. The stake and the fillet steak is cook with vegetable. You can put soy sauce and sugar to. Also add tofu and noodles, serve immediately. Quick cooked beef and vegetables can be a partner of rice.

Preparation Method :

  • Cut steak into paper-thin slices.
  • Cut the leeks into diagonal slices and drain the corn cobs. Wipe the mushroom caps, trim stalks and cut into halves.
  • Peel the onions and cut in small wedges. Wash and drain the bean sprouts and pinch off the tails.
  • Discard the outer leaves and cut the Chinese cabbage into bite-sized pieces.
  • Cook the noodles in boiling water for 10 minutes, drain. Set out all the ingredients on a large platter.
  • Heat a large heavy frying pan and rub with a little oil. Add half of each vegetable to the pan and fry on high heat until just tender.
  • Push to one side and add slices of meat in one layer. When cooked on one side turn and cook other side.
  • Sprinkle with soy sauce, sugar and sake to taste. Add a little stock to moisten the meat and vegetables.
  • Mix in half the noodles and tofu and heat through. Serve immediately in individual bowls with hot steamed rice.
  • Remaining ingredients are added to the pan and cooked after the first batch has been eaten.

  • 1 kg fillet steak or tender rump, in one piece
  • 3 small leeks
  • 565 grams baby corn cobs
  • 250 grams button mushrooms or canned shiitake (Chinese) mushrooms
  • 3 white onions
  • 250 grams fresh bean sprouts
  • 1 small Chinese white cabbage
  • 60 grams bean thread vermicelli
  • 6 squares bean curd
  • Cooking Oil for greasing pan
  • Japanese soy sauce sugar
  • Sake
  • Beef Stock
