LAMB WITH ROSEMARY

Preparation Method :

  • Trim any excess fat from the meat. Heat the butter and, when the foam subsides, brown the lamb well on both sides.
  • Add the garlic, rosemary, salt and pepper to taste and cook gently without a lid for 10 minutes, turning meat once.
  • Remove the meat and set aside. Add the flour to the pan and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes. Mix the vinegar, wine and water together and stir in gradually.
  • 04Continue stirring until the mixture boils, then check seasoning. Return the meat to the pan, cover, and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes until tender.
  • Serve with creamed potato and spinach.

  • 4 lamb steaks or chump chops 
  • 50 grams butter 
  • 2 clove garlic, crushed 
  • 2 teaspoon chopped fresh or
  • ½ teaspoon dried rosemary 
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper 
  • 2 tablespoon plain flour 
  • 2 teaspoon wine vinegar 
  • 250 ml dry white wine 
  • 250 ml water
